Install from your terminal
Recommended: use the official install script. It installs Bun and the CLI on macOS, Linux, Windows, CI, servers, or cloud environments with the same managed model access.

Install guide
Download the .dmg for your chip
Apple Silicon (M series) → PhanthyWork-macos-arm64.dmg; Intel chip → PhanthyWork-macos-x64.dmg.
Not sure? Click the Apple menu (top-left) → About This Mac and check whether “Chip” reads Apple or Intel.
Drag into Applications
Double-click the dmg and drag the PhanthyCode icon into the Applications folder.
First launch
This build is Developer ID signed + notarized, so a normal double-click launches it; if prompted, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”.
Log in and start
Open the app, follow the prompts to log in once, then start a new session and begin chatting.
Windows install
This Windows installer is not yet Authenticode-signed, so Edge or SmartScreen may show ‘Unknown publisher’ and block it. Continue only if you downloaded it from code.phanthy.com: in Edge Downloads choose … → Keep → Show more → Keep anyway (wording varies by version); when SmartScreen opens, choose More info → Run anyway.
Download the .exe installer
You'll get PhanthyCode-windows-x64.exe — double-click to run.
Complete the setup wizard
Follow the prompts and install to the default location; desktop and Start-menu shortcuts are created automatically. If “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen) appears, click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
Launch and log in
Open PhanthyCode from the Start menu and log in once to get started.
System requirements
macOS
macOS 13 or later · Apple Silicon (M1–M4) or Intel. Older macOS versions cannot run the required CLI runtime.
Windows
Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit.
Linux
Ubuntu 20.04+ / Debian · x64. The offline package supports older systems too.
