What to know before you start

How do I get started with Phanthy Code?

Download the installer for your system, or install the CLI with a one-line command, open the app and follow the prompts to log in once — then start a new session and begin chatting.

Which platforms are supported?

macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows, and Linux all ship native desktop installers; you can also install the CLI with a one-line install.sh / install.ps1.

Do users receive provider credentials?

No. The CLI works through your Phanthy Code account, and shared provider credentials always stay on the server.

How are usage and quota handled?

Before proxying a request, the gateway checks your plan, quota window, available models, and account status, then attributes usage to the right user — so it's clear where everything is spent.

Can I manage model access?

Yes. Model access, plans, quota, and usage records are all managed together in the web workspace.
